The dance sequence will see Madhuri reunite with Kathak exponent Pandit Birju Maharaj.
After mesmerising audiences with Maar Dala in Devdas in 2002, actress Madhuri Dixit is back again to cast her spell with a 'mujra' number in director Abhishek Chaubey's upcoming film Dedh Ishqiya.
The dhak-dhak girl will perform the dance on a song titled Apke Karar Mein composed by filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj, also the producer of the film.
"The song is ready and we will be shooting for it after we are done with filming the entire movie. I can't reveal much but I will say that it is a very elaborate number which will be shot on a big set," producer Ketan Maru said in a statement here.
The dance sequence will see Madhuri reunite with Kathak exponent Pandit Birju Maharaj.
"I am doing a song with Madhuri again in Dedh Ishqiya after Maar Dala. She is a great dancer and it is always a delight to work with her," Maharaj, who recently won a national award for his choreography in 'Vishwaroopam', told PTI.
Dedh Ishqiya is a sequel to 2010 hit film Ishqiya.
The second installment will see Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi reprising their roles, while the new additions are Madhuri and Huma Qureshi.
The film is produced by Vishal Bhardwaj and co-produced by Shemaroo Entertainment. (source)
