Huma Qureshi is getting to realise her childhood dream on the sets of Abhishek Chaubey’s Dedh Ishqiya. And no, it isn’t about doing an item number or playing a certain character. Huma is on seventh heaven because she is working with her childhood idol Madhuri Dixit-Nene.
After Kangna Ranaut walked out of the movie, Huma was roped in for the role and she can’t believe her luck. Not only does she get to hang out with Madhuri, but she is also getting to know what kind of a person Mads really is. Apparently, seeing Madhuri be so normal on the sets – as she jokes around and imitates the industry folks she has worked with – has made Huma realise just how humble the star is.
Huma even got a chance to confess to Madhuri that she is a huge fan of hers, and revealed how she would wear her Hum Aapke Hain Kaun dress and pose in front of the mirror! “I still have a photograph of myself wearing a miniature version of the green-and-white outfit Madhuri wore in a song from Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. I told her I’m going to find the picture, blow it up and get her to autograph it for me,” said an overjoyed Huma. Sweet, no? Source
