Anil Kapoor gave Madhuri Dixit her first hit - Tezaab (1988). Their onscreen chemistry was so amazing that the two were cast together in a number of films. Ram Lakhan (1989), Parinda (1989), Beta (1992), Dharavi (1992), Rajkumar (1996) and Pukar (2000) were few of the blockbusters of Madhuri and Anil. In December last year, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit brought alive the Ram Lakhan memories by dancing to 'My Name is Lakhan' at The Golden Petal Awards. Anil said, "It is a great feeling to perform live and collaborate with my favourite co-actor after years. Madhuri is not only the best actor but also the most wonderful human being I have worked with." Madhuri in turn praised her co-actor and said, "Anil is a very hardworking and talented actor and still looks the way he did when we worked together in Parinda!"
