One of the most delayed films of Bollywood in the recent times, ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ has not yet gone to the floors. The film was announced when its predecessor, ‘Ishqiya was released in 2010 and became a sleeper hit. Th esequle boasts of a stellar cast with the inclusion of quintessential Bollywood diva, Madhuri Dixit.
Madhuri is making her comeback with this film. Ishqiya featured Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi in important roles. But this sequel will miss Vidya Balan but Naseeruddin Shan and Arshad Warsi will remain with the new addition of Kangna Ranaut and Madhuri Dixit. This will be directed by Abhishek Chaubey who has directed Ishqiya. And it will be produced by Vishal Bharadwaj.
Reportedly, Arshad Warsi is very excited about the project as it got Madhuri in it, whom he consider the most beautiful lady. Arshad admitted that he can’t wait to share the screen with this ageless beauty. “I absolutely enjoyed working with Vidya in Ishqiya. She is a dear friend and I will miss her while shooting the sequel. But I can’t wait to start shooting with Madhuri Dixit. I mean, no one can beat her right?,” said an overwhelming Arshad.
