Madhuri along with Mr Amitabh Bachchan hosted the the finale of History TV18′s initiative ‘The Greatest Indian’ . Out of a list of 50 shortlisted personalities, viewers had to vote for the most deserving candidate to be named as the Greatest Indian after Mahatma Gandhi .
Dr B.R.Ambedkar was finally selected as the Greatest Indian since Mahatma Gandhi.
