Madhuri Dixit may soon play the role, mother of Sonam Kapoor in Anil Kapoor’s remake of the Hollywood movie, “Freaky Friday”.
The character was in the past offered to Rekha, Shabhana Azmi and Kirron Kher who had to turn it down due to date conflicts. Since Anil Kapoor has said that he would love to work with his earlier leading female once more, he felt that Madhuri Dixit suited the task completely. Though she likes the script, we are still waiting for verification on her part in the movie which revolves around a daughter and mother who magically exchange roles for a day.
