Anil Kapoor is planning an official Hindi remake of the English film Freaky Friday which is about mother-daughter relationships. Obviously, Anil’s daughter Sonam Kapoor plays the central role.
For the mother’s role, Kirron Kher was approached but she is not available because of prior commitments. Anil has sounded Shabana Azmi and Rekha but they wanted some changes in the script which are not acceptable.
Now that Madhuri Dixit is waiting for a comeback, Anil is willing to cast her if she agrees and most probably she will, because of the friendly relations between Anil and Madhuri.
